Neill Auterson is the Chef/Proprietor of the Sole Seafood Restaurant at 613 Lisburn Road, Belfast. His passion for cooking fish came about quite sometime ago when he travelled to and worked in Marthas Vineyard in the United States. Neill was amazed at the variety and availability of excellent locally caught fish and for a time thought that this was unique to the U.S. However, Neill contests that equally tasty fish are available in our local waters. Neill further added to his knowledge of cooking wide varieties of fish during extensive travels to Australia and the Far East. Neill brings with him this knowledge and experience to the Lisburn Road in Belfast.
Our passion at Sole Seafood is to provide fresh, high quality and well cooked fish at a 'value for money' cost to our customers. As you may be aware, fish stocks in our waters have been significantly reduced over a period of time to the extent that quite severe conservancy measures have had to be introduced to replenish the waters.
Fish conservancy is a fact of life as never before and to meet this requirement at Sole Seafood it is our aspiration to make available to all of our customers the less common fish species that are equally nourishing, absolutely tasty and a pleasure to cook and eat.
Sole Seafood intends to make available the more common brands of fish such as Haddock & Cod, Lining and Gurnard at the restaurant but we want to focus our emphasis on being the provision of the lesser known but equally delicious and high quality alternative fish types.
We at Sole Seafood are dedicated to providing high quality fresh and exciting seasonal seafood.
